ordinary wine or codeweaver

I was just wondering what wine release is the best. I'm using codeweavers since I wasn't able to install the ordinary wine. Also, which works best with starcraft.

I had better luck with the CodeWeavers release. I don't know if that is the better one, but, it was the one I was most pleased with. But, I was never able to get some of my major programs working. Oh well...

I made a similar post here and somebody suggested to me installing Codeweavers wine, and using their utilities to set up everything, and then download the newest wine build and install over the old one.

Codeweavers the only one Ive got to work somewhat reliably.
