Reclaiming partition

Hi all, Ive currntley got 3 partitions on my HD C,D,E at the moment ive got mandrake on E dual booting with windows ME, How do I reclaim the partition once ive unmounted mandrake so windows will again pick up the E partition..........Im not loosing linux for good Im just juggling............thanx in advance for any help offered!

Good for you that you provided this little piece of info otherwise my help would have been denied ;)
Go to the command prompt in windows and start fdisk. The (former) Mandrake partition should show up as non-dos. Just delete this partition, create an empty dos partition instead, reboot, format e:

In case dos fdisk fails to delete the partition use linux fdisk to delete and dos fdisk to create the partition.
