I love linux, but every e-mail app I've tried. . . SUX! I miss the smoothness of OE in Windows. I tried using Netscape, but that looks like crap. And I tried K-mail and that just blew. Is there any other good programs to try?

I checked the site out, but can't find anything on it. Looks like Maximum Linux is going to be shutting down operations. Hmmm.
If you could post anything, that would be great!
A console application I would recommend looking into Pine. Console is as smooth as Linux gets, especially considering X Windows can be extremely slow sometimes. Otherwise, just visit freshmeat.net and search for e-mail clients.

PINE is the only email program I have ever used on a continous basis for (?) years, and is the only email program I will ever use on a continous basis!
All others suck, anyone who doesnt appreciate pine because its "console" and the text scares them should give it a REAL shot, and see that it is the most superior email client on the face of the planet.
I used to activly try other email programs, they all suck compared to PINE.
Pine is available for lots of os's too, not just *nix! PICO is also an awsome text editor.. yes I said pico is an awsome text editor! I use VI as well, I always hear people trash pico .. But thats because they know not the power of pico!.
The most silliest complained ive heard is "pico corrupts because of line wraping".
Thats why you:
alias pico='pico -w'
!!!!!!
PINE/PICO FOREVER!

While I would have liked to remove my profile and personal information from LinuxNewbie.org, I am not permitted to do so. While I have contacted internet.com for the abuse from the administration at linuxnewbie.org I have to wait for any further action. I used to do the popular posts for Pretty Fonts in Netscapes which was closed to because of Derek who goes under the username "Neurotica". They also have a habit of sabotaging your member ratings so becareful of that. You can learn more about that by visiting my web site or calling me at home. That information is in my signature.
