Printer Problem

I installed a new printer. It works perfectly under X. However, when I use lpr from an xterm prompt, it does not print. I look in the log files and it returns a ghostscript error code exit 1. Any ideas as why this is happening?

Haven't really played around with printing much in Linux, but as I recall I think you have to set the kernel to be able to print from console.

Just a suggestion. ;)

Had a search around with Google... looks like a font problem to me. Check out http://linuxprinting.org if ya ain't already done so.
