I would like to dual boot ( and perhaps triple boot) live distros. For arguments sake lets assume I would like to triple boot Backtrack3, DSL, and an XP Live distro. Since Backtrack has a USB installer, im quessing I can create 3 primary partitions, install backtrack to partition 1 and set it to active.
Im not sure what to do next however. I do know that at some point in time I will have to manually edit the backtrack bootloader but do I just simply copy the other live ISO's to their respective partitions?

Any information regarding multi-booting live distros would be greatly appreciated. I found many link that provide dual booting assistance for Live and HD Os' but that is not helpful in my situation.

Thanks in advance

As one can put one distro in a CD so one can also put 7 distros in a DVD (http://www.justlinux.com/forum/showthread.php?t=150078).

As one can put 7 distros in a DVD surely one can copy the content of it into a USB pen drive and alter the CD-based boot loader to Grub. I got 3 booted successfully without changing anything in the distros.

The above is to boot each distro and run it similar to a Live CD (no setting saved, source system files are read-only).

If you install the distros properly, as a normal installation, then a USB disk is just like any other hard disk. Took me a weekend to install 12 systems into a USB external hard disk (http://www.justlinux.com/forum/showthread.php?t=148499).

So just pick the distros and pick the method of installation.
