Slackware Update

I'm sort of new to all this so I'm not up on everyone's development cycles, but is there a new Slackware release coming soon? Going on 5 months for 8.0 now, is 8.1 or 8.2 in the works? Not slamming or anything, just curious.

There is activity in the slackware-current changelog, so I would say yes, when? I have no idea

I would say a new version is expected June/July 2002

There's no rush to have all the cutting edge stuff in Slackware.

If you want it, compile it yourself or look on linuxmafia.org (http://www.linuxmafia.org). :cool:
