I'm trying to setup gmplayer as the default action for some videos. For example, I click on a .wmv in my email and firefox opens the download box. I choose to open it with gmplayer and select the box to do this "automatically with files like this from now on." When I click OK it fires up gmplayer and plays just fine.
What I don't understand is when I go to click on another .wmv file or the same one, it brings up the download box again. This time gmplayer is selected by default and the box to "do this automatically" IS CHECKED. So why doesn't it just open the file automatically like it is supposed to?
I checked in edit -> preferences -> content (where I'm supposedly able to modify the actions) and the file extensions only lists SWF files which says to open with shockwave. There's no way to add new items to the list, only change existing ones!
