Where's a place to get cheap Linux books?
The howtos and faqs are great, but it always feels better for me when I have a book on my desk for reference. Currently I have O'reily's Learning Linux, and Running Linux books, but I'd like to get a networking book or a programming book.

For online buying Amazon.com is usually pretty good, particularly the used section if you can find the books you're after.
I like the Linux Bible and Red Hat Linux Bible by Hungry Minds. Also most of the O'Reilly books.
For a book that has a somewhat unique perspective you might try Linux for Windows NT/2000 Administrators by Mark Minasi. It's not a beginners book since it assumes you are familiar with networking concepts. It also provides the best information that I've seen on creating heterogenous networks.

Why buy when you can rent? Check out your local library. That's what I did when I first installed RH 7.1. I found a book at the library on RH 7.0 and it was close enough that I set up everything I wanted from it, of course you have to be running a popular distro but once you find a book you can keep renewing for months. ;)

There is a link to one in somebody's sig. It's on sourceforge. I checked it out and was planning on buying it, but I don't remember the link now. If anybody could post it I'd figure out where to buy it and it might help other people!
