I would like to use it as a file server and SSH into it. You can choose what softare you want to install. psych-major 01-04-2008, 01:51 PM Although not strictly RPM based, for a server I would go with Slackware. It has RPM so you can install SOME rpm's. There are many pre-compiled packages for it on linuxpackages.net and slacky.eu Everything else can be compiled from source quite easily... justlinux.com
