I bought a new box with win ME preinstalled, and I'd like to put Suse 7.1 (Pro) and BeOS ... Does someone know wich bootloader to use (will Lilo work ?) And what's the best order for installation (Win, Linux, BeOS or Win, BeOS, Linux) ?

You can use System Commander which works a treat with my 3 OS's and they can be in any order.

Hope this helps

As long as you have BOOTDISKS of every OS (as you should!) it doesn't matter which you install first.

WinME (blegh!) will always fsck up your mbr so it is the only OS on the block (quite literally)
I use LILO boot flops, which no-one likes (i dunno why) and boot just as fast as HDD 'cuz you just boot 512 bytes.

So you can put Win, Linux and BeOS in your lilo.conf (don't ask me how, "man lilo" is better -and it isn't even as difficult as most).
Then run "/sbin/lilo -v". (the "-v" is just for verbosity so you know what's happening)

The bootloader in BeOS will do fine with all of them.
