I don't understand I have a 24x dvd writer but I can only write at 2x. I have searched for an answer and no luck. I am using the most recent version of k3b and fc7. Any input would be appreciated.

That's what I think is that it is software slowing it down. Other peolpe are having the problem but k3b issaying the buffer on the burner is reading 0. justlinux.com
