I've had some wierd library problems and installation problems since, and at boot time my console log says it can't find the map file. Did I configure LILO wrong? Could this be why the kernel is wierd? Antho 05-05-2001, 10:20 PM When you compiled your new kernel and you copied the kernel-image to your /boot directory...did you also copy the System.map from the source tree to your /boot directory...? justlinux.com
