It would appear to me that there is a wide audience outside Justlinux interested in multi-booting different operating systems in a PC. My two threads on 100+ and 145 systems have received a lot of interest in the Internet and as a result become the 1st and 2nd threads with most views in the "How I did it" subforum. Not all of remarks are favourable though as people think I am a geek or an idiot ( possibly true on both counts). Like it or not Justlinux has also got mentioned regularly so I am using the publicity to start this thread as a collection of multi-boot links and invite anybody who wish to contribute by

Post his/her work here
To inform us or put a link here pointing to other published information that is relevant
To ask questions or discuss the topic in general or in a particular area.
Tell us any unaccessful multibooting story. If you have an explanation for its failure I will add it as a link.

I shall endeavour to maintain regularly the first two posts, which shall be reserved for arranging the links from your contributions. You can post information from Post #3 onward and it will get mentioned here when it fit in with the intention here.

This is meant to be a centralised area where readers can find ideas, howto, published Internet information on multibooting.

There will be unavoidable decisions on the selection of materials in the Post #1 and #2 here and I foreseen some of my decisions may not be popular. The thread is for modern Linux and operating systems and therefore unless the information is up to date or has a historical value I would go with the current practices mainly. Having said that I am open to suggestions and remain flexible.

------------------Happy multi-booting!---------------------------------------------------------------------------

This following line will be deleted in future

"Please bear with me if you see too many of my threads initially. They are here to prop up the thread before contributions are coming in".
