How is RH 7.1?

Evaluating the distro choices and seeing that redhat 7.1 w/ the 2.4 kernel was just released, does anyone have some observations to share? Any changes in performance? How is it? Thanks

I've got it up and running right now.. It looks like it is mandatory to have both CDs now... I'm not that versed with linux so i really can't say much except that it seems stable?

I thought smooth truetype fonts were suppose to be included with 7.1. anybody can verify this?

I just installed 7.1 last night. Kde with 2.1 is great, Gnome doesn't seem any different. I had a major problem with the X-Server hanging the whole system. I was using a Savage 4 video card. I didn't ever get out of text mode. I swapped it out for a Voodoo 3 and it worked great. Don't know why it did that, maybe cause of the new XFree86 4.0.3, that's just a guess. I hope I don't have this problem very time.

The iptable/firewall functions are nice! I can access my company's VPN and serf the Inet through a 486 PC with 20 meg of RAM. The 2.4 kernel rocks.

I assume you're referring to some sort of GRE/ipsec support??

If it's not too much of a bother, could you please post your iptables ruleset (including which moduels you loaded) in order to enable vpn traffic to whatever clients you have behind your firewall?

I've been trying to get this working for a couple days now, with no luck :(

If you could help shed some light on this, I'd name my firstborn after you! :D
