AHHHHH!!!!

ok...well I got a 2nd moniter so i setup the best spare system i could with all my parts form my past computers (mwhahahaha ohh what thi.. *zap* oww jebus..*zap* son of a b...) Anyways I booted up the system installed trusty mandrake and all went fine until i got to the moniter stuff...I DUNNO WHAT TO CHOOSE!!!! its an ibm..thats all it says so I'm clueless any way i cna find out what this ol puppy is? Also it wokrs fine in text mode so i suffered in that and went to use links and dowload a few things (Halflfie Server for linux, admin mod, bots, etc) and for some reason i cna't seme to dl them..it times out :( So i burned the files on this computer and then put the cd in the 'linux' system and i'm not quite sure how to load the cd and untar everything!!!!!! ARGGGGGGGGGGGGG

Mandrake would probably be:
mount /dev/cdrom
If that doesn't work try
mount -t iso9660 /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom
Then if you don't have mc installed install it, and use that as your file manager while your in console mode. BTW mc has an ftp mode that works great.
