Ok, I just tried to install galeon 0.12.7 but it tells me that I need mozilla 0.9.5 to install along with GConf 1.0.4

The thing is that I do have both installed. If I do a --nodeps, the mozilla part is fine but the GConf part really screws up. How can I tell the galeon rpm where GConf is installed? any other sugestions??
thanx

Have you tried reinstalling GConf?

Lets try not to crosspost as it's not really fair to others that post once and sit patiently waiting for a response.

If you decide to respost your question in another forum, then delete the original. Thank-you.

No, I haven't tried that yet. I'll give it a shot tonight and let you know how it went.

Ok, I just re-installed GConf but I still get the same problem. I'm pretty sure there is a wey of telling the RPM where GConf is installed but I just don't know how to do it. Any ideas?

Open a terminal and issue the command "man rpm". Study the man pages thoroughly. I believe the command "rpm --rebuild" is what you want (with appropriate options). It should rebuild the rpm to suit your system configuration, including finding the dependent files.
