I got a CDR off a mate which has, or should have, BeOS on it. When i mount the CD and look at the contents, i find only the total of 36megs of data...

The CD is bootable, and it cannot find the files it needs to set up BeOS. The guy did mention that the CD had an advanced filesystem, and the words 'windows 2000' and 'journaling' were mentioned, im sure (perhaps im mistaken about the win2k bit)

So does anyone know how i would go about accessing the entire CD??

It really is quite annoying, i was looking forward to run Be...

Cheers

Have you tried just rebooting with the CD? I'm not familiar with BeOS but perhaps 36mb is all it requires to install.

i have tried booting off the CD ... it tells me to insert the CD!! I was wanting to know if there would be any way of getting at the data that is (or should be) on the CD

Parhaps its just that my CD drive is crap???
