hey guys

Am trying to install BT Total Broadband..... got a dual boot with Suse10.2 and XP....I have a BT Voyager 1055 Wireless USB Adapter with a Broadcom4320 chispset. I cannot access the CD's that came with the hub and the adaptor in Linux! I understand they are only compatible with Windows and Mac... any help how to get connected?

Am a newbie to Linux...and so am not sure how to work the network manager tho yet...I also dowloaded ndiswrapper but not sure how to use it!

Any help would be greatly appreciated....

thanx...

have you called the company and asked for a program that can run on linux?
if not, bluetooth might work.

Thanks for the reply...

I have and unfortunately they do not provide CD's that work on Linux...neither do they provide any technical support for Linux users! I have however just bought a new wireless adapter (Edimax 54) with CD from the linux emporium and they have assured me it works on OpenSuse 10.2.... anyone has any idea how to set it up?

I will probably need help connecting the BTHomehub....

As I said am a newbie so any help would be much appreciated....

If i were you, id return the hardware to the manufacturer and explain that if they wont support linux, the you wont keep the product. Or, I would request a wired hub instead of a wireless one.
But your not me, so what instructions does the cd give while your on XP?
