I final got my dvd player functioning in linux but when I try to play a dvd i get this:

input_dvd: Unable to find >VTS_01_0.VOB< on dvd.
input_file: trying to open subtitle file '//VTS_01_0.VOB'
xine: cannot find input plugin for this MRL

What does this mean? Do I have to install this plug in?

Come on, someone has had this problem before.
Doing some research on this I see that a CSS plug in is required but its not leagal. Is this the only way to get them to play?
