Hi all!
I want to update my system per ftp from suse.com. But I cannot get connected to that server if I start yast1 after booting with disk2.
I load the right network card module, but still.
What am I doing wrong or what did I forget?
PS: I'm using cable.
Tnx in advance for any help or hint.

Here I go again...

Don't let me dishearten you from using LNO. Everyone else here is quite nice. Just pointing out what it says in the LNO faq's.
Can you post a little more info on your problem? Any options you need to setup for this to work?

Is 7.0 already installed? If it is you don't need to boot from a disk. you will need to fire up yast then choose "Adjustment of installation" and then "Select installation medium" and then "Installation from an FTP site" and then from the FTP Settings sceen hit the F10 key. If your network settings are correct it will check a few directories. At this point you can go have a cup of coffee.
When it's done you can go back to the main screen and select "Update system" If that doesn't work you may still need to configure your network.
