hey,
i'm using the latest proprietary NVIDIA drivers on openSUSE.. everything run's quite well. the problem is Cedega (window's game emulator) doesn't agree with my OpenGL drivers. All OpenGL screensavers and games work okay, so I believe my driver's are okay.

I have a feeling it could be a incompatability with the 64-bit drivers. I am using a x86_64bit kernel / everything.. but the version of Cedega is i386 platform. Would this defiantly be the issue?

Ta guys, any ideas i'd appreciate.
Sam

it wasn't even a incompatability i was so off track lol. this problem was caused by lack of permission to /dev/nvida* devices
chmod 666 /dev/nvidia* done the trick ^ ^

You'll probably find that when you next reboot your machine the permissions will be reset, try adding your user to the 'video' group if they do get reset.
