I've got an usbstick, and when I insert it in my pc running win2000 the light starts burning. During reading and or writing it blinks, and when I tell windows I want to remove it, the light turns off.
When I insert it in the same pc running ubuntu 6.06 dapper drake, the light starts burning, but it will not turn off when I tell ubuntu I want to remove it.
Can somebody shine a light on this subject?
