Another Install Question

Got through the last hoop only to find another. The most recent error message while installing is the following:

checking for QT... configue error:QT (snapshot=QT2.1 beta2 (Headers and Libraries not found)

Is there some where that would give me like a translation of these error messages somewhere that would say oh yes this is what is missing ??

I'm assuming you're trying to install KDE, right? You need to install the QT libraries (http://www.trolltech.com) before you do that. KDE depends on the QT libraries.

No Ive already installed KDE Im trying to install a couple of programs Kleandisk and a front end for gnupg. There is alot of QT stuff on the CD but Im not sure which to install . One error message said it wanted qt s2.2.0 and library so.0 Im assuming that one of the QT files I have is the one but Id like to know so I dont have to install the lot.
