Hello everyone, I was looking at the new NHF on IP tables and thought about trying it. My question is that IP tables is not compiled into my kernel (2.4.3). I know how to turn on this feature but will I have to go thru all of the steps of recompiling my kernel? Or is there a easier way? Thanks...

I don't believe there's any way to get around compiling it into the kernel. Do realize though that not only must you compile it into the kernel but you must also install the tools for it if they're not already installed. You cannot use the iptables command without it. So I'd make sure of that before I recompiled the kernel (unless some program you're running specifically says it's not in the kernel).
