OpenVPN and KVpnc

I'm running the OpenVPN plugin on IPCop and it works wonderfully on Window$. I did have to hard code the default gateway and DNS info to talk with the rest of the network (one would think the VPN DHCP would dish that out... shouldn't it?), but after that, it was as if I were home (kinda the point). I'm running into smiler problems with OpenSUSE 10.2 and KVpnc only here I don't know how to make the changes. Are there settings in KVpnc I should make or will I need to write a shell script to make the changes when I log on and off to get lappy to talk w/ the inside network? Or is there something else I'm missing? :confused:
