Ok, last night I worked on getting Samba up and running. Finally got the shares to show up in Network Neighborhood on my Winblows box. Disconnect my SSH to the server and went to bed.

Now this morning when I try to SSH into my server I get.

-bash: error while loading shared libraries: cannot open shared object file: cannot load shared object file: Error 23

and the connection closes. Anyone know why this happens?

Can't ssh ftp or terminal into the box and the swat web server is down too.

Oh yeah, using slackware 8.0 and the current Samba build from www.samba.org (http://www.samba.org)

Does anyone have any idea on this? I am completely lost. I can logon to the console and restart the server. Then everything works fine for a bit but get's messed up eventually.

I have no idea what the problem could be, soooooo it's off to Google.

Have a look through these search results (http://www.google.com/linux?hl=en&ie=ISO-8859-1&oe=ISO-8859-1&q=SSH+error+while+loading+shared+libraries&btnG=Google+Search) and see if anything pertains to your situation.

Maybe by this way, it works.
