I have my keyboard, mouse, gamepad and steering wheel all working great under linux with USB. I recently bought a D-Link USB hub, and put all devices into that. Everything works fine, but my MS IntelliEye Explorer usb mouse seems to die after ditting idle for a while. The strange thing is, the mouse works fine when plugged into the usb hub in my keyboard and when plugged into the computer's on-board usb ports. However, when using the D-Link hub, as I mentioned, it dies. When I say die, I mean the red light shuts off and I have no cursor in X when moving it. If I remove the mouse from the hub and plug it right back in again (still in the hub) it wakes up and continues working. The usb hub is self-powered so this should not be a question of too little power, but I could be missing something.

Any suggestions?
