Hello, everyone.
I received the following message today from the Debian development list. It should give you a general idea of the progress of Debian "Etch."
I have omitted the long list of packages, maintainers, and their e-mail addresses -- because this message would be huge and of no interest to Debian users, and because I do not have the time to delete each of the maintainer's e-mail addresses in order to protect her or him from "spam."
If you want a full copy of the message, it should be archived on the Debian GNU/Linux (http://www.debian.org/) Web site, or you can send me a personal message including your e-mail address, and I will be glad to e-mail you the complete report. (Privacy Protection Notice: I will not share your e-mail address with anyone, and I ask the same consideration of you -- nor will I contact you again at your e-mail address, unless you explicitly request me to do so. Thanks!) :)
Thank you for your time.
Cordially,
David
