I was reading i story about how a school in Europe was pushing the gui out to computers sorta like terminal server for Win2k.
Where can i find information about how to do this in linux?

As far as I know, X-WIndows is capable of doing this (listens on port x) I haven't looked into it further apart from that though. Have a look at the X-Windows docs. Should be something in there. I'm just on a quick lunch break or I'd pull a link up for you. If you're still looking around 5:30 EST, I'll be back and can provide further help as I wouldn't mind knowing how to do this myself.

yeah, but there is not a free way of doing this. I will have to try that out. It looks interesting. Have you done this before ph34r?

There's Linux Terminal Server Project (http://www.ltsp.org) though it may not be what you are looking for.
Also VNC of which I don't have the url handy but can be found at freshmeat.net
