I recently installed openbsd on one of my puters. The installation went fine. DHCP setup worked great and the NIC got an IP from my router no problem. However, the obsd box cannot access the outsided network. It can ping the router and other computers on the network. I plugged it directly into the cable modem and it got an IP and went on the internet but it just won't go on the internet from behind the router. Does anyone know how to fix this? It's a fresh install. No changes have been made except to fix the /etc/hosts file as per the http://openbsd.org/errata.html error 001... Thanks

why don't you try "other unix based os's" i'm sure bsd ppl would most likely be there.

I'm sure that if your installing OpenBSD you already checked this, but its the only thing I could think of...

In the OpenBSD installation it asks you for your "default route", which is supposed to be the ip of your router. Maybe you miss entered the value? Ok just my 2 cents. good luck.
