Hi all,
I'm using Opensuse10.1 on my Acer TravelMate 802. It has Radeon Mobility 9200 graphic card.

Well, after seeing XGL in action, I decided to use it too. However, it only works if I log in as root. If I use as ordinary user it doesn't work.

By the way, I use Gnome.
Can anyone give me some hints please?

Wow, I didn't notice it dkeav!
Thank you very much. After reading the XGL troubleshooting carefully, I manage to make XGL run smoothly. It turns out that my saved gnome-session is the culprit.
