Not too bad. Now, I get to start bashing my head into the wall, because when it asks for the install source, it says it can't find my good ol' IDE CD-ROM, so I'm dead in the water anyhow. Enh. Enjoy! CRT_Monkey 04-17-2001, 12:07 AM whoa, Im gettin RH 7.1 @ a respectable rate from a server in the Czech Republic! Now that's f'ing amazing that I get a better transfer rate from a puter 1/4 the way round the planet and I can't get diddly squat from anywhere in CA! The internet is one amazing beast I have to say. Now if I can only get my hands on a burner. LOL [ 17 April 2001: Message edited by: CRT_Monkey ] Space-Cadet 04-17-2001, 12:18 AM I'm just gonna wait a week to download it, when the crowd has passed a little. Plus I can't get rid of 7 right now, gotta do a few more things... I plan on installing 7.1 fresh Strike 04-17-2001, 01:25 AM I'm gonna try it, I think. I still can't find an ISO out there though. They are all the week old "Seawolf" releases. Any address would be appreciated. RobMc 04-17-2001, 03:10 AM I just got emailed about the RH7.1 release and my reaction is..Guys, I just GOT rh7! I'll wait a bit, and see what's what. I tried a dualboot with NT(mini HOWTO is VGood!)and got some error messaes in the boot, then installed fresh(with helpings from the Green Update CD in the Deluxe Workstation box, then the RH update CD)--all is well, but no dualboot. But I'll try that again sometime. Error messages or no, seeing the dualboot work: "It's alive!!"... By the way, my replies all come squished like this, format-wise. I know I'm doing something wrong..?..is it Cuz my ubb code not enabled? FoBoT 04-17-2001, 05:21 AM Originally posted by Strike: I like how linuxiso.org changed ALL of the Linux distributions to GNU/Linux distributions. :p if you read the notes, she (the lady that runs it) basically caught some flack regarding suse in some fashion, so she is just trying to CYA, so to speak justlinux.com
