Hey all,

I am looking for a graphical screen saver that will show me a graph of selected processes. Memory usage, swap usage, proc1 & proc2 usage, and eth0/1 usage. Anyone know where I can get something like that?

How about a console tool to do the same thing?

I don't know about a screensaver, but GTOP shows a fancy GUI representation of processes, memory used, that sort of thing.

Just happened to think, you might want to check out GKRELLM too, all the info in a nice GUI right on your desktop.

Well i don't know of screen savers, but there are utils, like Knetload, kdefree(i think), stuff like this that can give you some info about what is going on in your system.

while looking at different screensavers in xscreensaver i noticed that you can configure "sonar" to monitor different things on your network including processes. so if you have xscreensavor installed, look for sonar and try to see if you can configure it to do what you want.
