Hi,

I could use some help...

RedHat 7.0, Kernel 2.2.16-22 on a Dell Inspiron 3K Laptop, 266 MHZ Processor, 6 GB EIDE HD, 64 MB Ram with standard Serial and Parrallel Ports.

I have an old Hard Drive that has from what I understand the old SCSI-2 interface, 3 rows, 50 pins total. I'd like to be able to fabricate a cable to this drive so I can connect it to either my serial or parrallel port to read some data off of it. Can anyone send me in the right direction to find some more information about this? Thank you.

A cable adapter isn't going to do the trick. SCSI devices don't connect to the serial or parallel port; they need to be connected to a SCSI bus. You'll have to get a SCSI controller card to "talk" to a SCSI drive. Something like the Adaptec AHA-2940 will work.
