What do you mean the best ? I could tell you to look at linuxdoc.org to learn who to burn via CLI or I could recommend CDRoast. It's up to you to find out what is best for you and to look for the apps you might want to use. Do a search in www.google.com/linux (http://www.google.com/linux) maybe you might find answer to your question .

As I understand it, you want to know what other people like, right?

I use gnometoaster ( under kde ) and it is superb, probably the most complete app out there. It does pretty much everything, multi-session, burn-proof etc.

A close second, for me, is koncd. It is much simpler to set up, but is not quite as powerful - the way you choose data is particularly agricultural, for example, but it works really well.

You could do much worse than try these two, and see if you like them. Always read the manuals, too.
