i have got the problem with WIFI. i have installed ipw2200-1.1.3 ,ipw2200-fw-3.0 ieee80211-1-1-13 and my kernel version is 2.6.17.2157-FC5 . whenever i connect it connects for only 1-2 minutes ans disconnected itself. i have seen the log files and it says that
kermel. Failed to send CARD_DISABLE: Command timed out.
any can help for me..and i m not using dhcp. i configure ad-hoc, auto, chanel 1 ...
other problem i find is intalling my monitor
i am using acer-travelmate 3212NWXMI laptop. it is widescree 14.1" TFT LCD. it doesn't show the resolution 1280x800..always show 1024x768...so it's blur ..it takes the graphics card as intel 915 which is ok..(mobile centrino)

Is there a reason you configured your card ad hoc? That's mostly for connecting two computers directly I believe. If you want to connect to an access point you want managed, even if you're not using DHCP.
For the resolution, will it let you change it to 1280x800 in the Fedora control panel (whatever it's called - I haven't used Fedora so I don't know)? If not you may need to add a modeline for it and set it manually in the xorg.conf file. Post a new thread with that question separate from your first one if so. For future reference only put one question per thread as it makes it a lot easier for people to help you.

That's the first thing I would take care of. It looks like you installed a newer version of the card drivers than you have wireless-tools. It may not be a problem, but then again it might. If you downloaded the driver packages from somewhere else I would suggest looking on your distro CDs for them so you make sure to get some that match the other software you have installed.
