Dual-boot?

I've got a Windoze 2K Server in play that I need to keep alive, but want to load Linux and enable it for dual-boot. I need to show that I can run Linux equivalents to prompt a Linux migration.

- What do I need to be concerned with in setting dual-boot for a Win2K box?
- I need to run a web server, do some server-side scripting and hit a database pretty hard. Which distro should I look at?

Sorry I can't help you with that but I'd rephrase this thread's title.
"Dual-boot" is plain boring and gets asked (answered?) far too frequently.

Something like:"Considerations when installing Linux alongside Win2k" should stir up people's emotions enough (with past headaches maybe) to come to the rescue. :D
