MOSIX, LVS and GFS

I've read the documentation of MOSIX and LVS, but I do not understand MOSIX's design and how it is being set up.

Is there any website I can compare the difference between the two?

Also, both websites were talking about GFS. From GFS's website, it seems to be some kind of LAN mirroring? Am I right?
