OK, it is wireless, however, it works with Linux and it costs about 1/2 the price of normal ethernet musicbridge systems. It also gives you complete control over evertyhing, without Eulas or Any Big brother. This is an operating system agnostic solution.
That said, I accomplished this by purchasing one of these. This is an example of what you need to find, I am not affiliated with Crane in any way. Any good fm transmitter works, but the car type adapters probably won't have the power. This one gives a range of about 45 feet. Of course, there is online hack you can do to increase the range, which I did and will satisfy the geek in you.

All you do is plug this into the headphone out or line out from your computer and select an unused frequency to broadcast on. Any radio can then tune into your broadcast. I use it for online radio and have about 10 playlists I select from when I am going to work out. Turn this on, start amarok, and turn the home stereo up to workout inducing volume. Any sound that you can make your computer produce, you can broadcast to you home stereo.
I may buy another one so that I can broadcast siruis radio from the home stereo into my office where, of course, I have a pretty decent sound system in there. :D

Here is a link to the hack.
