Sorry asking 'bout win. Not much, though. So far... :)

Currently I'm building simple 2 host network.
gateway/firewall is netbsd (name:pisces).
the client is windows (name:aquarius).

The internet connection will be dial-up sharing. Modem is on pisces.
Now, what make me confused here is should I put my ISP's DNS server in the
windows setting like picture below?

or instead put THe DNS server addresses in the firewall host only?

or put on both hosts?

Tnx.

If your firewall will be handling DNS caching then you shouldn't need it in the Windows config (maybe use that as the secondary still)

put your ISP's DNS servers in there.

Yep, use your ISP's DNS servers, unless the BSD box will be doing DNS caching. If that's what you'll do, then put the BSD box's address as the primary, and one of the ISP's as the secondary (for a backup in case the caching DNS server on the BSD box dies).
