Hi,
I've installed Storm Linux 2000 on a Compaq PC (PII 400, 96mb ram). Once I complete the instalation I reboot the computer and choose "Linux" in Lilo. It then starts to load linux but it gets to a point where it says:
Mounting local file systems...
not mounted anything

And then it freezes. I've tried to re-instal Linux but the problem keeps poping up. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

Just try a different distro. It sounds like either the installer's buggy or you messed up somewhere along the line. If you're new I'd suggest Mandrake (http://www.mandrakesoft.com/).

Does the Compaq have a SCSI Hard Drive in it?

I dont think so, during the instalation it looks for a SCSI drive but I doesnt find one.
