Hi Guys, I have just setup a modem on my RedHat 7 server box and edited the options/pap-secrets files. The connection worked flawlessly. I did a reboot on the machine, and left the modem turned. This meant that at bootup linux found the 'Generic Serial Modem' and I allowed it to install the modem. Since then it tries to connect with LCP on my connections to my ISP, which causes the connection to crash everytime. I've tried booting without the modem turned on to let RedHat uninstall it, thinking this would also take out the LCP setting, which it didn't.
My question is just, where in the network/pppd settings can I find the LCP setting, so that I can disable it? I can't seem to find it anywhere.
Thanks in advance :)
