problem with .iso downloading kubuntu?

I went to the Kubuntu Linux site (the KDE version of Ubuntu Linux) and downloaded the .iso on my desktop then wrote it on a CD.

I then restarted the computer and chose Boot Menu and chose Boot from CD but it just continued on with my windows.

What's wrong? And how do I install it?

well ... what happened to me is i downloaded the iso without checkin its md5sum
therefore there is some corrupted files in the cd imaga (i guess ^^)
try redownloadin or try it out on another pc

how did you burn the data? there should be an option to burn an iso, or a disc image...have a look here:
