Hello, I believe this will be my second post in the LINUXNEWBIE.ORG chats. I have come accross another problem (Hmm what's new). In my reference book's I am told that LinuxConf is in the PROGRAMS>SYSTEM>LinuxConf

However it is not here...Maybe It is called something else, I'm not sure but then again I don't know. How can I get this thing running because I need it, bad.

Well I dont suggest using LinuxConf.
But just open up a terminal and type:
linuxconf
and it should run fine

Just a reminder that Linux is case sensitive and also not all distros come with 'linuxconf'. Mine doesn't, but has comparable configuration tools.

Were you logged in as root? LinuxConf only appears in your menu when you are logged in as root.

But try not to "root" around. In a terminal, su and type "linuxconf" as suggested by digitalzero.

Hope this helps!! :p
