well inorder to make my linux experience a little more interesting I was wondering if there was a way to remap my keys to something else. I run KDE, I know that alt-f1 brings upt the menu but I was wondering if I could take my windows button on the left and make it bring up the KDE menu appear too. I know BSD allows key remaping but 1, I forget how and 2, is it the same?(so I can remap my other box as well [BSD]).

Also some ppl might know about the alt-f2 combo that brings up that run-line window.

I'd like to know what program that is so I can add it to my panel on the bottom.

thanx for any insight && // in/output

NB ;)

Bring up the 'Run Windows' and then check to see what processes are running. Top or anyother will probably do.

Is there anything in the KDE Control Centre that allows key mapping or a separate application in the KDE menus.

I believe the KDE faq's and documentation at www.kde.org (http://www.kde.org) has some info on the subject.
