Hey all, I ran a few searches on google and this forum and couldn't find anything directly related to this issue.

I'm using a fresh install of Kubuntu (Breezy)

I'm on a college network which uses Microsoft stuff for everything. This means I use an exchange server for checking my e-mail. I prefer using Microsoft Outlook to check my mail when I'm on Windows. As far as I'm aware of, Evolution is the only Linux app capable of connecting to an exchange server. Knowing this, I used adept to install Evolution, some plugins, and the Evolution-Exchange app.

I did some googling to find some setup guides and it seemed easy enough and I was pretty excited to get it working. But then I ran into a weird problem; Most of the options are missing from my Exchange Server account settings. So, I can't get anything working. Anyone know how to fix this?

Here's a screenshot to show you what I'm talking about:

This is what I need my config to look like:

Thanks in advance!

Just a guess, the maybe the SSL modules are not loaded on your system?

Hey,
The reason you don't supply all the settings is that Connector is not an Exchange client, rather it is accessing your Exchange account thru the web. You can do mail and access your calendar, but some features just arent there. Setting up meeting requests is pretty clumsy, for example, something I really need at work.

The Username is exactly what you use to sign into Outlook.
The OWA url is how you would ordinarily get to Exchange web mail, something like https://mail.universityserver.com/exchange/ . You may need to ask your mail administrator for the exact server if you don't know it, but it's NOT your Exchange server.
The other key thing you need is the GAL server for addresses.

If you really like Outlook and have an MS Office installation CD, I would recommend CrossOver Office, the commercial version of Wine. For Outlook, (and ppt, excel and word) it is just perfect. I couldn't use linux at work without it.
