I went to bb.themes.org and read the faq so that I could add icons and a panel to my desktop. I have BB and KDE installed. Whenever I open the console and type kpanel or kfm, i get a command not found error. Would this have something to do with KDE's new file manager which is started by using konqueror rather than kfm?

How can I get BB running with kpanel and kfm?

I don't know if you can really use all the kde apps with blackbox. KDE has some sort of built in window manager that makes it hard to work with.

I think probably the reason you get command not found is because kde2 installs into something like /usr/local/kde2/bin and that's not in your path. Just play around with it for a little bit.
