From this (http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi?query=gbde&apropos=0&sektion=0&manpath=FreeBSD+6.0-RELEASE+and+Ports&format=html) man page:

BUGS
The cryptographic algorithms and the overall design have not been
attacked mercilessly for over 10 years by a gang of cryptoanalysts.

What does it mean?

Does it mean that in over than 10 years it wasn't been tested?

Or, does it mean that in over 10 years it has been mercilessly attacked by a gang of cryptoanalysts but it never been broken? :o

Does it mean that the technology is too old to be considered a realiable technology? :(

i would imagine that its a typographic error in the man page, gbde has been heavily tested, and yes not broken
