I am looking for a some sort of Web Based control tool that could be loaded onto on a fresh NetBSD or Debian install. I bought a Qube 2 server on ebay for cheep. The thing has it's own OS, based on 2.0 Linux and Red Hat. I am upgrading it to something more reasonable, and my options (because of HW limitations) are NetBSD or Debian, wich is grate, but I would like to retain the Web Interface so it would serve the same function as originally intended. A sort of plug and play server. I looked at WebMin, but did not like it all that much. Any other programs that do sort of the same thing? I really like the way SME does things, but it's not an option unfortunately :(

Thanks for any help,

- Bogdan

Yeah, I know, SSH is king. But I don't picture this as a production server, or anything like that. Just a small server, something I can plug in and forget. Any way, thank's for BlueQuartz link, unfortunately after Sun released the Qube3 they chose to go with more common CPU, AMD I think. Thus all the updates that went into Qube 3 could not be used for Qube 2. Qube 2 runs on 64Bit MIPS and the BlueQuartz project is based on Qube3 code that Sun recently released. I was thinking that perhaps there is a PHP driven program that can do alot of administrative tasks.
