:D

Hey all! Got a question.

Can you boot two flavors/versions/distros of linux? How do you do it?

I am running SUSE 7.1 (the big dog!), but wanted to run RED HAT 7.0 as well, since silly stuff like BLENDER won't load in SUSE, at least, not while I'm using 2.4! :D

Also, anyone know how to get the damn DVD to run? I've installed all the LIVID stuff, but for some reason OMI will not configure. Says it's looking for OMS, which I just compiled!

This is one perplexed dawg!,

I use LILO.
I have at one time Quad-booted Win98,SuSE6.4,Debian2.2r2 and Slackware7.1.

So, yes, it IS possible.

BUT, I don't touch the subject of "putting LILO on the HDD" like everyone wants. I put LILO on floppies because that's more secure.
Search the siteand NHFs. I've also answered this question twice in the last week, so you can search the forums. ;)

Keep us posted and Good Luck!

Off topic: Welcome to LNO, but use ONE thread for ONE question.
That's polite and less confusing for everyone.
